COVID-19 VIRUS: OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
**Important Health Advisory: We care about the safety of our movers and our customers. It is advised to all our customers that you please notify us if you have any flu-like symptoms or fever, as your move would need to be rescheduled. Also, if you have recently traveled on a plane or cruise, please read this message from the CDC carefully, as we are requesting to be informed for the health safety of our teams. We do our best to keep everyone safe, and we ask that you do your part as well! Please read more about how you can help prevent the spread of germs in your community, home or business.
We do ask that if you have the following symptoms, you do not move, but instead stay home and contact the GA Department of Health Hotline at 1-866-782-4584 for testing instructions. Many of these symptoms are similar to the Flu, but still should not be ignored:
- Shortness of breath
- Loss of taste or smell
- Muscle aches

MOVING TIPS TO PROTECT YOURSELF & OTHERS FROM COVID-19
In some cases, allergy symptoms might present themselves to be similar to a virus, so it’s important to know the difference. Below is a list of common allergy symptoms:
- Itchy or watery eyes
- Runny or stuffy nose
We are closely monitoring the ongoing war with the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak according to the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). All of our employees have been made aware of the best practices of sanitation and protocols for avoiding the spread or contraction of this disease.
Our process and procedure includes:
- Proper and frequent washing of hands
- Sanitation of equipment and surfaces touched
- Staying home if sick or ill!
Moving is a vital service for many people, and for that reason, we have been working hard to ensure that health and safety in the workplace is maintained. Just as you may have some fears over the movers entering your home (wondering if they are healthy), our movers have the same fears about you. For this reason, we ask all of our customers to please respect these health and safety protocols and to let us know immediately if you are exhibiting any Covid-19 symptoms or if you or a close family member have tested positive for Covid-19.
When moving furniture, it is virtually impossible for our movers to stay 6′ apart from one another as they have to lift heavy pieces of furniture together. However, you (the customer), do not need to stay close to our movers and should keep your distance as much as possible. We encourage you to have everything packed, labeled and ready to go once the movers arrive in your home or office.
Please wear a mask at all times, and feel free to offer the movers plastic gloves, shoe covers, face masks and/or cleaning supplies to clean the surfaces they are touching. Yes, this takes extra time, but may be worth it. While our movers have been provided these items, some homeowners prefer their own products be used. It is also helpful to have these items on hand if you are able, as it has been difficult finding certain supplies available as we move so many people, supplies run out quickly and can’t easily be purchased at this time. So this is where we need to come together and each pitch in for one another’s safety.
WHAT WE ARE DOING DIFFERENTLY
We understand that this outbreak is adding extra stress and concerns to everyday life, so we are taking some additional actions to help our customers:
- We will be offering FREE cancellations or rescheduling of moves booked with us if a customer tested positive for Covid-19;
- If requested, our movers can wear work related gloves while they are moving your items;
- We are also happy to conduct a remote estimate over the phone, or via FaceTime if you have reservations about having someone enter your home.
